Set in a casual but elegant setting, Brasserie Léon is the celebration of Classic French Steak & Fries served with a secret signature sauce, a favourite and almost considerate national dish in France. Other French favourites, foie gras, baked escargots, mussels and fries, melted raclette cheese, and a conscise selection of bites and desserts complete the menu.
Baked Shell-less Escargots (RM23.90)
Comment: Not my favourite escargot dish. Too oily and a little hard to chew.
French Onion Soup (RM27.90)
Comment: Delicious soup, strong and rich with flavors. Sweet and savoury.Homemade bread with salted butter (RM7.90)
Comment: Like it when it is served warm, soft on the inside.
Roasted Bone Marrow (RM62.90)
Melted Raclette Cheese w baked confit baby potatoes, onion pickles, gherkins (RM42.90)
Melted Raclette Cheese w baked confit baby potatoes, onion pickles, gherkins (RM42.90)
Comment: I find it pretty normal with the ingredients, oh well, the cheese alone is pretty good but this is just for the gram.
Duck Leg Confit w blood orange sauce (RM48.90)- served with homemade french fries and mesclun salad
Comment: Crispy skin with tender duck meat. The orange sauce definitely enhanced the flavor of the duck.
Mesclun Salad
Homemade French Fries
Comment: Crispy and addictive french fries. Huge portion.
Forgot which type of beef is this
Truffle French Fries (+RM15.90)
Comment: Very mild truffle flavor. Not worthy.
Tarte Tartin (RM26.90)- Traditional caramelised apple tart, vanilla ice cream
Comment: Not the usual kind of apple tart, the whole thing is just too sweet to my liking
