Cielo KL is located at the upmost floors of Vida Bukit Ceylon Residence, just a stone’s throw away from KL’s most popular entertainment district, Changkat Bukit Bintang. Cielo KL is famous for its fresh and flavourful seafood menu. The ingredients for the mains are sourced from across the world, all cooked with love under the glittering skyline of Kuala Lumpur. For those who crave for something meaty, Cielo has Iberico lamb loin, sirloin steak and tenderloin steak. The mouth-watering food, paired with Ceilo’s extensive list of wine and scrumptious desserts under the striking skyline makes the night even more perfect. This explains why Cielo has been a popular spot for romantic dinner since it opened its doors in 2012.

Premium Rack of Lamb New Zealand (RM168)
Comment: Huge crusted lamb rack, juicy and tender in the middle. Filling and satisfying.

Cielo's Tiramisu (RM50)- Coffee, cocoa, masala, caramel crown
Comment: Elegant-looking piece of dessert, excel in both presentation and taste wise.

Complimentary Bun with Butter

Gallagher's Special Premium Live Oysters from Ireland (RM140/6pc)
Comment: Huge, fresh oysters that are plump, crunch with a hint of peat.

Grilled Octopus with Mix Floral Salad, Red Capsicum Puree & Pistachio Vinaigrette  (RM70)
Comment: Octopus was fresh but it could be seasoned better.

Lobster Bisque with Brittanny Lobster & Cognac (RM90)
Comment: Super disappointed with this dish, this is the worst lobster bisque I had in my life. I could barely taste the lobster and it was too creamy and filling.

Sea Bass- Steamed with White Wine accompanied with Spanish Bomba Rice Risotto, Vegetables & Lobster Cream (RM115)
Comment: A fan of this meaty texture with buttery fat taste, risotto was tasty. This sea bass was sourced from bay of biscay, France. You can either have this steamed or charcoal grilled.

Panna Cotta with Pink Guava, Melon Chestnut and Blood Orange Soup (RM38)
Comment: This goes into my list of favorite desserts. The texture was similar to creamy pudding with a combination of citrusy sweet and sour taste, more towards the sour end. This dessert tasted so much better than the lobster bisque.

Cielo KL is definitely a romantic dinner spot for couples with the dim lighting and scenic view of KL. You are able to enjoy a different atmosphere between evening and night. You do not need to worry about the rain that will ruin your dinner as they have retractable screens. Overall, there is room for improvement in terms of food. We had a bottle of Albarino white wine to pair up with the food. I do strongly recommend this restaurant for couples who are going for the ambience.
