Situated along Jalan Sultan and house in a building that dates back to the early 30s, The Crane KL resto-bar makes its debut in Chinatown. The Crane breathes new life with its sunny street-level vibe that channels East-meets West. Owned by Puteh Bar, The Crane surrounds one with character and charm while paying homage to culture and legacy. Preserving its structural features, the space has received a full makeover making it brighter while exuding the feel of "ones own place". Pieces of art and objects from the yester years occupy The Crane which scores high aesthetically. The menu promises a playful take on various dishes with a fine collection of both Asian and Western food, tweaked and presented in a progressive Fusion way.
Incorporating philosophies of feng shui with sensuous design, intricate details that was thoughtfully put together for Upstairs, The Crane's speakeasy. Exuding old Oriental sensuality, Upstairs set the mood for an evening to remember and opens its red doors at 4pm daily. With creative concoctions of cocktails that promises elegance, potent elixirs and a dash of mischief, Upstairs has devised cocktails from ancient Chinese sex positions. The Crane is the perfect destination for a quick stimulating a leisurely afternoon or an evening get-together with friends, The Crane and its speakeasy bar Upstairs will appeal to everyone who appreciates well brewed stimulants, creative concoctions and progressive food and drinks that served in an edgy, chic atmosphere.

Crane's Nest Sliders (RM30)- Cheesy tempura beef sliders mozzarella cheese, ketchup, mustard, gherkins and onions. Topped with signature melted cheese sauce and sweet potato crisps.
Comment: Love the combination of beef sliders with the addictive sweet potato crisps. Best to pair with alcohol.
Cream of Taro Root Soup (RM20)- Cream white velvety soup that's made from the yautia root vegetable
Comment: Rich, thick, dense taro root soup. You will love it if you are a big fan of rich taro flavor. Super 'kao'!
Rendang Chicken in Pai Tee (RM20)- Pai Tee shell filled with braised traditional Malaysian chicken redang
Comment: My favorite starter! Love the crispy shell filled with fragrant & rich-flavored chicken rendang.
Tapas Platter (RM45)- Assorted cheeses, cured meats, pickled peppers, dried fruits, nuts and anchovies on toast
Comment: Perfect tapas to pair with your alcohol.
Peruvian Toasted Sweetcorn, Avocado and Quinoa Salad (RM20)- South American style quinoa salad w toasted sweetcorn, avocado and coriander
Comment: Light, mild flavor, nice salad to begin with before the main course
Grilled King Salmon (RM60)- Grilled king salmon w green pea mashed potatoes, asparagus and spicy cream sauce
Comment: Strongly recommend you to try out this perfectly grilled king salmon which is super tender, soft, goes well with the spicy cream sauce that gives the extra flavor.
Lemon & Herbs Roasted Chicken (RM38)- Lemon & herbs roasted chicken accompanied with sauteed potatoes, buttered sweet corn and thyme sauce
Comment: Well marinated, roasted to perfection, tender and already tasty on its own. Love the sauteed potatoes which are pretty soft as well.
Spaghetti "Cabe Jio" w Tiger Prawns (RM38)-Green chili paste tossed with spaghetti, tiger prawns and parmesan cheese
Comment: Love the spaghetti, well-cooked and flavorful!
Grilled Australian Rib-eye Beef Steak (RM75/200g)- Australian rib-eye served with suateed kailan, roasted potatoes and garlic sauce.
Comment: Delicious and tender perfectly grilled beef steak. Recommend this.
Cendol Panna Cotta (RM20)- Cendol panna cotta w caramelized brown sugar and roasted coconut flakes
Comment: Light dessert to end the meal, lightly sweet and fragrant. Pretty good.
Classic Tiramisu (RM22)- Layered savoiardi biscuits, mascarpone cheese, eggs with cocoa powder
Comment: Not the typical tiramisu but the taste is definitely 100% tiramisu.

Wrestless Monkey (RM42)- Curry leaves infused vodka, infused honey lemon syrup, infused chili honey syrup, fresh ginger juice, fresh curry leaves, fresh lemon juice, dry ice.
Crane Intertwine the Necks (RM54)- Infused chrysanthemum flower gin, campari, fresh lime juice, Australian seedless black grape juice, infused cinnamon syrup, angostura bitters, infused honey ginger syrup, cinnamon stick, star anise, chrysanthemum red flower
The Dragon Turns (RM55)- Gin infused w chrysanthemum flower, infused papper corn syrup, fresh red dragon fruit juice, fresh lemon juice, pandan leaf
