DAE.JANJI is a new cafe opened in February 2021, located in Subang Jaya. The chefs at Dae.Janji aim to create an array of food
that not only warms up your soul but walks you through the best of
several traditions around the world leading to a modern take of Asian
and Western Cuisine. This nature-themed cafe with green and leafy elements and pastel-colored furniture creates a few insta-worthy spots. Cafe hoppers should check out this comfy place!
Matcha Latte (RM14)
Comment: Too much milk, would prefer a stronger matcha taste
Prawn Bisque Wonton Noodle (RM26)- Wonton noodles, soft shell crab, fried wontons, creamy prawn bisque, spring onion, leek, shredded parmesan
Comment: I liked the soft shell crab and fried wontons but the noodles with prawn bisque sauce taste normal
Mushroom Aglio Olio (RM19)- Pasta, assorted mushrooms, shallots garlic oil, sliced garlic, chopped parsley, parmesan and garlic confit
Comment:
Taste was alright, would be better if it was less spicy so that it didn't cover
up the garlic taste. Mixed mushrooms would give extra texture and looks more
appealing
Soft Shell Crab Burger (RM28)- Brioche bun, coral lettuce, fried soft shell crab, salted egg sauce, house salad & curly fries

Since DAE.JANJI is a new cafe in the city, I was excited to try out their food menu. There is room for improvement but overall the food is decent. It can be really packed during the weekends, so do make an early reservation, especially if you come in a big group.
