Mushroom (RM38)- Confit mushroom in extra virgin olive oil, walnut, garlic, chili, sourdough toast
Comment: The mushroom paired well with the sourdough toast but it taste normal on its own. Savoury taste.
Corn (RM65)- Josper-grilled whole Highlands white sweet corn; truffle butter, parmesan cheese and black truffle
Comment: I find it slightly pricey because the truffle and cheese taste are very light but the corn is pretty sweet. Overall it is alright for me.
Butter Fish (RM75)- Charcoal-grilled shio koji-marinated butter fish; radish sauce, yacon, ice plant, peanut
Comment: Fish is tender and smooth. Taste delicious and perfectly grilled. The peanut adds an extra crunchiness to the dish.
Quail (RM85)- Josper-grilled stuffed whole quail, mushroom risotto, braised Savoy cabbage
Comment: Quail is tender in texture, balanced sweet and savoury taste. However, the mushroom risotto is too soft in texture and taste pretty normal as well.

For starter, I ordered Oyster & Caviar (RM42/piece)- Freshly shucked Iwagaki rock oyster topped with Tanjung Malim caviar, quail egg and calamansi dashi. The oyster was huge, soft and fresh. Chili oil was provided for a spicy kick. Then, we had Escargot (RM30 for 3 pieces)- French escargot croquette with burgundy garlic herb butter. Initially, I was anticipating escargot in shells because that's what I usually have. The croquette was filling with explosion of garlic herb butter. I didn't quite like it because I couldn't really taste the escargot, it was covered by the buttery taste.
Oyster & Caviar
As for the main course, I had Poitrine (RM85)- Australian lamb belly with sauteed and pureed Highlands broccoli, anchovy mayonnaise and lamb jus. The taste was amazing with its soft tender texture and marinated perfectly. The second main course was Quail (RM85)- Josper-grilled stuffed whole quail with olive sausage, French Le Puy lentils and gastrique glaze. The meat was juicy and tender, a delicate dish.
Poitrine- Australian Lamb Belly
Cheese & Vanilla (RM45)- Josper-burnt Basque cheese cake with Chantilly cream and Temerloh vanilla
Comment: I felt like unwrapping a surprise gift as I was unwrapping it. I enjoyed this dessert so much, I couldn't believe I finish eating the whole cheese cake because it was so creamy and soft with rich cheese taste and I am a huge fan of cheese.
Cheese & Vanilla
Dark Chocolate (RM45)- New recipe souffle with 70% single origin
Pahang chocolate and choice of chocolate/vanilla/coconut flavor ice
Comment: Rich, dark and intense in chocolate flavor, with a light yet moist texture, wasn't overly sweet. Love it! Even the coconut flavor ice cream is fragrant.
