Miyabi at Sheraton Hotel, Petaling Jaya is a stylish, contemporary and informal dining venue where an a la carte
selection of customary Japanese specialties such as sushi, sashimi,
tempura and omakase sets takes center stage. Live-cooking stations
helmed by the chefs accord guests an upfront view of their culinary
artistry. Miyabi is led by Chef
Yanagida featuring dining experience with authentic Japanese cuisine. Miyabi is spacious to accommodate a huge amount of guests, you may even opt for a private room with minimum spending of RM1000. The lunch menu is same as the dinner menu in their website. I ordered the Teppanyaki Zen Course (RM110) that comes with appetizer, sashimi, dobin mushi, agemono, teppanyaki dish, fried rice and dessert.
Comment: Cuts were small but they were fresh
Comment: Not so flavorful but acceptable taste
Comment: Very good, cripsy skin with tender meat. Taste was on point.

Comment: This bowl of carbs taste good
Assorted Sashimi- Tai (Sea Bream), Salmon Belly and Toro
Comment: I liked the sea bream and salmon belly which were really fresh and chewy. Toro's texture was really bad, it wasn't fresh as well.
Soft Shell Crab Salad- Not in the menu
Comment: Portion was sufficient for 1-2 pax.
Grilled White Cod Fish with Salt (RM85)
Comment: Really good with its tender-firm texture.
Green Tea Ice Cream (RM18)
Comment: The taste of the green tea was quite strong, I would prefer the slightly bitter version of matcha
Green Tea Pudding
Miyabi at Sheraton PJ is an underrated Japanese restaurant in town. l loved the quiet ambience, spacious dining area and the food, of course! People should come and visit this restaurant for affordable yet quality Japanese food.
