     Sage Restaurant & Wine Bar, located at Level 6 of The Gardens Residences in Mid Valley City has unveiled itself with a brand new look and an even more exciting menus. Led by the talented Chef Don John Sta Maria who comes from Malacca and a team of zealous chefs, the award-winning Sage provides excellent French-Japanese Nouvelle Cuisine amidst a contemporary yet chic fine dining ambience. Cold Somen w Uni and Scallop
Comment: Flavorful, texture is great, fresh uni and scallops served. One of my favorite dish.

Unagi Pie with Foie Gras and Red Wine
Comment: Foie gras taste great, especially with the sauce but the unagi pie is pretty normal, nothing special.

Grilled Halibut w Cous Cous and Sauce Provencale
Comment: Overall, I find this dish normal, doesn't impress me. Sauce is quite bland.

Lemon and Lime Cheesecake w Milk Ice Cream
Comment: Just a simple dessert to end the course. Cheesecake is pretty light.

Katsuo with Caviar and Sea Grape
Comment: The fishy taste is too strong for me, didn't quite like it.

Seared Scallop Risotto with Parmigiano and Iwari Butter Sauce
Comment: Flavorful and delicious risotto, fresh firm scallop perfectly seared. Risotto is slightly soft but acceptable.

Grilled Lamb Rack with Charred Broccolini and Mustard Jus
Comment: Very tender, easy to chew, juicy and melts in your mouth. Paired well with the mustard jus.

Chocolate Mousse with Darjeeling Tea Ice Cream
Comment: Love the ice cream, darjeeling tea flavor really strong and refreshing. Chocolate mousse is okay.

     I find the 4 course set lunch menu really worthy with only RM170/pax, especially in a comfy yet elegant vibe. The good thing is they do change their menu every week so you are able to try out different items without getting bored. Stay tuned on their Instagram page for the latest menu!
