Tai Syou Japanese Restaurant was opened in 2016, operated by a Japanese Chef Koide Masami from Hokkaido. It has a open kitchen concept and you get to sit at the counter while watching the chef at work. You can choose floor, table or counter seating. I visited this restaurant twice because I like some of the yakitori dishes (Japanese skewers). Complimentary appetizer (potato salad) will be given during dinner. I apologize for not stating the item price as they do not provide online menu.
Lady Finger Skewer
Pork Belly Skewer and Scallop Skewer
Comment: I loved the juicy pork belly skewer.
Chicken Wing
Unagi Set (20% off during lunch time)
Comment: It tasted better with the soup poured into the bowl of rice. They were generous with the Unagi.
Chicken Soft Bones
Comment: Didn't like it, the taste was off
Pork with Enoki Mushroom Skewer and Chicken Wing
Chicken Karaage
Comment: Juicy, tender meat with crispy skin
Rainbow Maki with Salmon, Tuna, Avocado, Salmon Roe, Cucumber and Omelette
Drop by Tai Syou if you are looking for some authentic Japanese food cooked by a Japanese chef. Remember to book a seat before you head there because it can be crowded at times due to limited seating.
