The Brownie Xperiment is an online bakery store that specialises in unconventional brownies. During this Lunar New Year, they came out with something new which is Chinese New Year cookies. The choices of CNY cookies that are available for sale: Earl Grey Pineapple Tarts, Ondeh-Ondeh Tarts, Cornflake Cookies and Choc Chip Almond Cookies with Halal Bakwa. I had only tried their earl grey pineapple tarts and ondeh-ondeh tarts. The earl grey pineapple tart was the best pineapple tart I had so far, loved the buttery and crumbly pastry that melts in the mouth with sweet and tangy pineapple jam filling. Ondeh-ondeh tart was something I had never tried before. I enjoyed the generous filling of coconut soaked in gula melaka, it was definitely a delicious CNY cookie.
