The Lemon Tree

    The Lemon Tree is the newest hype in town that requires you to queue whenever you go. They serve freshly baked pastries that are available at the counter. I hope they improve their service (more comments below) because service is definitely a major factor to keep the business going. I would recommend you to takeaway the pastries if you are not there for the ambience.

Flat White (RM13); Long Black (RM11)
Comment: Flat white was alright, medium roast with a hint of aroma. Long black was more to sour taste.

Morning Fuel (RM32)
Comment: I still prefer the normal fluffy scrambled eggs, their scrambled eggs a little too wet and does not have the fragrant egg taste. The only thing that I like here is the butter croissant, packed with fragrant butter taste and aroma, crispy and flaky.

Truffle Mac & Cheese (RM26)
Comment: Taste pretty good, cheesy with a hint of truffle taste. However, it kinda look like kids meal with this kind of portion and lack of ingredients. You may opt for this if you prefer a light meal.

Almond Croissant (RM12)
Comment: Pretty good, crispy, flaky and filled with generous amount of almond fillings. Not too sweet as well.

Peach Mille Feuille (RM18)
Comment: A good choice of dessert, not too sweet, crispy and flaky.

Lemon Drizzle Cake (RM13), French Butter Croissant (RM8), Blueberry Danish (RM10), Tiramisu Cruffin (RM8), Cinnamon Danish (RM8)
Comment: My top favorite pastry is french butter croissant, definitely a must-have that you will not regret. You do not need butter in it.

Chocolate Banana Loaf (RM9), Pistachio Croissant (RM12)
Comment: Both are my favorites as well. Pistachio croissant is a little sweet but you can a generous amount of pistachio fillings in it.

Service: 1/5 (Took 10mins to set one table, no staff attended to people queuing outside, did not even ask if anyone wants to sit at the table top which can fit 5 pax)
