The Penthouse Restaurant & Wine Bar has been operating in SS15 since 2013. It is a cozy restaurant that serve great Western and Italian cuisines. Steak is their signature, they offer a good selection of beef cuts in the menu. Vast selection of wines and hard liquor can be found in the Menu too.
Caesar Salad (RM18)- Romaine lettuce, crispy turkey bacon, cherry tomatoes, olives, croutons and parmesan cheese served with caesar dressing
Comment: Very huge portion to start with, suitable for sharing. Fresh romaine lettuce taste well with cheese and caesar dressing.
Grilled Salmon (RM58)- Grilled salmon fillet served with avocado salsa and roasted potatoes
Comment: A little overcooked but still acceptable. Love the avocado salsa that makes this dish satisfying and filling. A very healthy version of main course.
Roasted Spring Chicken (RM30)- Roasted half spring chicken served with fries and coleslaw, choice of mushroom sauce or black pepper sauce .
Comment: I chose mushroom sauce but it doesn't really taste like mushroom sauce. Portion is huge, suitable for sharing. However, chicken is slightly dry. It would be better if it is slightly more tasty.
It is a decent place that serves a selection of comfort food and a variety of alcoholic drinks. Suitable for family and friends gathering.
