Significant to its name, THIRTY8 is located on the 38th floor boasting a 360-degree city view to complement the elegance of its dining areas, bar and lounge, along with lively show kitchens which serve international cuisine featuring Western and Chinese. The captivating panoramic view, the dramatic sense of décor and the splendour of its cuisine are what makes THIRTY8 the signature restaurant of the hotel. Whether to entertain business associates or celebrate special occasions with family and friends, THIRTY8 is the place to be. It is famous for their Signature Afternoon Tea (RM168nett for 2 pax) which is a classic tiered afternoon tea set filled with dainty selections of sweet and locally inspired savoury, complemented by free flow of tea and coffee.
Signature Afternoon Tea (RM168nett for 2 pax)
Latte
Cappuccino
Top Right to Bottom Right: "Lobak", "Ikan Siakap Kunyit", "Ladu" and "Udang air laut"
Comment: Flavor is pretty good, savoury, my favorites are the ladu and lobak.
"Ayam kampong", "Ikan tenggiri", "Labu manis" and "Roti John"
Comment: Pretty filling, my favorite is the roti john.
Plain & Cameron Highland strawberry scones, strawberry & kaya jam, pandan cream
Comment: Pretty soft, I like the strawberry scones with tiny chunks of strawberry
Sweets
"Lolipop mangga" and "Bunga raya"
"Lobak merah" and "Terung dan coklat"
"Limau kasturi" and Teh tarik creme brulee tart
"Kek coklat lava"
Butterfly pea ice cream
I would say this is one of the best afternoon tea
I've ever had, especially with such a gorgeous view overlooking the Petronas
Twin Tower. Feel super satisfying and filling, unlike those typical afternoon
tea with tiny portions. The best part is you are able to try different drinks
with unlimited refill. This is definitely the best place to yum cha and chit
chat with your sisters!
