Reflecting their values for seafood, Umi Ka Shin got its name from 'umi
kara shinsen' which translates to 'fresh from the sea' in Japanese. Staying true to the Japanese way, the seafood are prepared by their
chef who has many years of expertise in serving authentic Japanese
cuisine. Each portion of your delicate seafood are served together with
genuine wasabi and soy sauce. Located in KL, Umi Ka Shin's services and deliveries
are only available within Klang Valley for the time being.
Today, I was able to try out their 13 Pieces Premium Nigiri Set (RM165)- all selected by chef: Otoro (Fatty Tuna), Kinmedai (Splendid Alfonsino), Engawa (Flounder Fin), Madai (Red Sea Bream), Kurodai (Blackhead Sea bream), Maaji (Horse Mackerel), Ikura Gunkan (Salmon Roe), Shima-Aji (Striped Jack), Salmon, Shirasu Gunkan (Small Sardine), Kazunoko (Herring Roe), Hiramasa (Yellowtail Amberjack) and Hamachi (Young Yellowtail). Comment: Freshness is utmost priority when it comes to nigiri and it was well maintained although it was delivered. Thick slices, smooth and satisfying. Introduction card was given. Strongly recommend to order this if you are craving for omakase during this MCO period.
